Poem: White Crow

Someday I will know,
Where the white crow flies;
I will let the time flow
And laugh it all as I fly.

I used to struggle in rusty chains
Bound and forgotten in the long rain.
And the fire in me almost died
until a white crow came to a flight.

I used to see a path of raging storms;
Raging storms that resonated like lament of tears
I forbade anyone to pass my shell;
A coward’s shell to protect me from my fears.

But the white crow left a cerulean streak of light
A blinding vision almost knocked my sight
A spark of hope turned into a blazing fire
Ignited up as I see the self I desire.

The chains that used to restrain me—
They crumble to dust as I flee
The light that had once faded,
enlightened my forlorn heart.

Paper airplanes filled the sky,
As my pain sank and the rain stopped.
I left my doubts behind and fly.
I soared through the sky with the divine white crow.

Pen name as EGOIST, I used this entry for a contest in my school. That contest was the “Poetry Performance Festival” and a part of English Week’s celebration. I remembered panicking as I wrote this the night before the deadline and I didn’t even think I would make it to the finals! But that was it, though. Although I had fun and gained new friends (two fellow contestants!), I ain’t really good with public speaking so... yeah?

 

Taking Away Won't Stop Us

It all started on our Social Studies’ group project. I first thought it would just be another pain in the neck, but when my teacher explained what we should do, I almost jumped out of my seat and squeal like there’s no tomorrow.

Of course, a miracle happened I restrained my inner fan girl from taking over my body.

With our class divided into six groups, the project was just enough: Korean sing and dance, Japanese sing and dance, and Thailand sing and dance.

Well, being the “annoying” K-pop fan I was, I literally jumped in joy and squealed like a pig. But to my surprise, my classmates didn’t react. They were probably happy for me because I waited for centuries for K-Pop to finally appear. And that was that, my teacher assigned the groups. Well, not really assigned because she freaking made us play rock, paper, and scissors!

Oh, and how unlucky my group was! We and another group was the first round, and they won—sadly—that caused me to beg them not to take Korean dance. And to my surprise again, they agreed! Some miracle must be happening.

But not really a miracle, since we lost all rounds until the only ones left is: Korean dance, Japanese dance, and Thailand sing and dance. The worst part? Another group just stole KOREAN FREAKING DANCE AWAY FROM MY GROUP. When they declared they’ll be performing Korean dance, my vision literally blurred, as my chances of dancing K-Pop songs without people judging me was taken away! By those freaking peasants who didn’t even understand a single thing about K-POP! LIKE, they said, “We are K-pop!”

WELL HELL, YOU FREAKING STUPID GENRE THEN. EXCUSE ME K-POP IS A GENRE, AND IT IS DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU, DIPSHIT.

Okay i’m being the bitter one here, but hey! Let’s face it. We were childish, yes, but hella freaking why do they have to steal it away from me? WHY!?

They left us no choice but to take Japanese dance. No offense to the Thailand sing and dance thingy. To be honest, they’re okay for me. I know a Thai song and all, but my groupmates don’t. So i had to go with the zigzag flow of water. (SINCE SOMEONE DESTROYED THE ORIGINAL FLOW!)

From that, i wanted to prove those bitches wrong. I wanted to slap Japanese dance to their dumb faces and scream that taking K-Pop away from us won’t change anything. And so we chose No No No by A-Pink. It was originally a Korean song, but since it had a Japanese version, well we took the chance! It’s technically in Japanese anyways.

But as we practiced No No No, i realized that those damn girls aren’t even worth slapping our majestic work for. I’m not even exaggerating, but we had the best performance! Wiee~ We got a perfect grade and two bonus points, since, well, we’re awesome that way.

Digital Painting?

I really want to learn digital painting. But since I have no time, I'm too confused, and I have other things to do, I can't even browse freakin' tutorials in the web. That's why for the meantime, I'll settle with Photoshop's Tricks.
I know it does not even look like a painting but whatever. I'm a noob anyways Haha.
If someone knows digital painting, let me know! I really want to ask for help.
